At Positive Fitness, it’s not just about workouts, it’s about creating a space where women feel comfortable, supported and genuinely excited to show up.
Built by a Mum, for Mums
I understand busy schedules, school drop-offs and the juggle of everyday life. Classes are designed to be realistic, welcoming and judgement free.
Fitness That Feels Good
With a lifelong love of dance, I know that movement should be fun, uplifting and something you’ll actually look forward to, not something you dread.
Community First
Supportive women, friendly chats and plenty of laughs are at the heart of every session. You’re never just another number.
Strength, Balance & Flexibility for Real Life
Workouts focus on helping you feel stronger, move better and have more energy for everyday activities. From lifting kids to feeling confident in your body.
Small, Supportive Groups
No intimidation, no pressure, just personalised guidance in a warm, encouraging environment.
Encouragement Over Intensity
Positive Fitness is about building confidence and enjoying movement, not pushing through fear or feeling overwhelmed.
Hi, I’m Lauren, a busy mum of two primary school girls, fitness lover, and the face behind Positive Fitness. In my 30s and always on the go, I know first hand how hard it can be for mums to find time for themselves. Between school runs, work, and everything else life throws at us. That’s exactly why I’ve created a space where women (especially mums) can move their bodies, clear their minds, and enjoy a little “me time” without pressure or judgement.
I’ve been dancing since I was seven years old, and it’s always been a huge part of my life. Dance taught me early on that fitness should feel fun. Something you actually want to keep coming back to. More than anything, it showed me how powerful a supportive community can be, and how much more enjoyable movement is when you’re surrounded by encouraging, like minded women. That sense of connection and enjoyment is exactly what I want to create through my business.
I’ve been in the fitness world since completing my Certificate IV in Fitness in 2013, and since then I’ve trained in Pilates, Barre Pilates and Punchfit (boxing). My classes are small, supportive and welcoming. It is perfect if you’re getting back into movement, rebuilding strength, or simply wanting to feel more energised and confident again.
Outside of teaching, you’ll usually find me taking my kids to activities, dancing, reading, creating something arty, or chatting and laughing with friends. I truly believe fitness should feel fun, empowering and realistic for real women with busy lives.
My goal is simple: to create a warm, friendly space where mums and women feel comfortable, supported, and proud of what their bodies can do, no matter where they’re starting from.
